Michael A. Rogawski, MD, PhD

Michael A. Rogawski is professor of neurology and a member of the Center for Neuroscience and the Pharmacology and Toxicology Graduate Group. His laboratory conducts cellular neurophysiological studies of ion channels, with a focus on the action of ion channel modulators used in the treatment of seizures and epilepsy.

Ashish Dhir, PhD

Dr. Ashish Dhir is an Associate Project Scientist at the University of California, Davis, specializing in neurology research. At the CounterACT Center, Dr. Dhir tests antiseizure agents in models of acute seizures (status epilepticus) and lethality produced by organophosphate cholinesterase-inhibitors, including DFP. He also studies spontaneous long-term recurrent seizures following status epilepticus.

Dorota Zolkowska, MD, PhD

Dr. Dorota Zolkowska is an Associate Project Scientist at the University of California, Davis, specializing in neuropharmacology. At the CounterACT Center, Dr. Zolkowska developed the first, reproducible and validated translational rodent model of status epilepticus induced by chemical threat agent TETS (tetramethylenedisulfotetramine).
